My DD broke the back strap off her Gold Mary Jane crocs. We are leaving on Saturday for WDW. I tried to find new ones, but they are out of stock at Croc.com and our local stores. She was going to wear these with her princess dresses. Can you super glue them or fix these in some way? Only one side of the back strap is broken where it attaches to the croc with the rivet. I know croc can replace the straps, but I don't think they will ship it in time. Also has anyone tried the kids Alice croc. It comes in black which would work too.

See if you have a shoe repair place in your town. Women don't typically think of using them but most places have at least one. They can work miracles quickly sometimes!

I have tried on the Alice Croc and found it much more comfortable that the MJ crocs. They are more squishy. When we were on our way last week I was wearing my new Cleo crocs, which are by far the most comfortable shoes I have had. My nephew stepped on the back and ripped the strap out of the hole. They were unrepairable and this was before we even got to DW!!!!!! I left them in the back of the van and everytime I looked back there I would sigh and mourn the loss of my comfy new shoes.

Thanks, I will probably just get her the Alice shoes. She needs black dress shoes for the winter anyway. Have checked with croc directly about repairing your shoes? I understand that they will replace back straps. I hope you can fix your comfy shoes. I have the Capri's and I love them.

I wore my mary jane crocks to WDW this summer and the back strap on mine broke also. I just wore them without the strap without any problems. They didn't slip off or anything. But maybe it's a safety thing for kids to have the strap on the back of the foot...I don't know. I also have a pair of the Beach style which is a lot older and the strap is fine...could the mary janes have a defect that causes the strap to break off more often? Do you have a Dick's Sporting goods store near you? That's where I bought my family's crocks.

I tried Dick's and about three other stores. It seems the gold Mary Jane is sold out. It's even sold out on Croc's website. I 'll take the back strap off the broken one and see if she can walk safely in them. So thanks for the idea!:thumbsup2

My brother used something called Shoe Goo to fix his broken shoes (this was when he was skateboarding mind you and couldn't afford to pay $70 for a new pair of shoes every 2 weeks!)

It's basically like rubber cement that will hold shoes together. It worked especially well on the soles of the shoes, so I imagine it would work on Crocs. You can get it in colors, but I would probably go with a clear version. He always got it at skate shops but I saw it at Gander Mountain before and I think at Dick's Sporting Goods. Cheap easy way to fix a shoe in a hurry!

I dont know if you are flying into Orlando International Airport, but if you are, there is a CROCS store right in the airport.

It's pretty big and carries a large selection. You might find what you are looking for there.

is it the strap itself ripped or did the button come out? if it is the button, your nearest hallmark store should have the buttons and you can replace it. Good luck fixing it no matter what!!

My hallmark store also sells the straps...

Stupid question, but have you tried pushing it back in? Mine came undone in the Magic Kingdom this summer. I thought the strap had broken, but it had actually just come unsnapped. It snapped back in and has been fine ever since.

Another source for you, both Zappos.com and Shoebuy.com offer specials all the time with free overnight shipping, and sell a good selection of Crocs. You could always see, it's not too late if you order today to have them by Friday, or even tomorrow.

The strap tore through right where the rivet attaches. I looked online and at 3 different stores and no gold mary janes. I called Taylor shoes, one of the largest online retailers of crocs, the lady I talked to informed me that the gold mary janes were currently not being manufactured and were pretty much sold out. So I went out and bought my daughter the black alice shoes with blue rinestone heart jibitz. They are quite cute. Thanks for all your helpful suggestions. I might try gluing the mary janes together. They have lasted over a year - which is more than I get out of other kids shoes.
