Broke a glass at WBC question

Was loading the dishwasher and broke one of the tall drinking glasses. Anyone had a similar experience? How much of your deposit did they keep? I'm hoping it will be reasonable and not an outrageous amount...

Not WBC, but Cypress Pointe -- I broke a glass the same way and left it on the counter with a note saying that I was sorry and to please be careful so they don't cut themselves. They didn't deduct anything from my deposit.

Replace it, They sell them at Walmart.

Minor accidents shouldn't be an issue.

It probably happens more than you think. Just let them know, they will replace it with another. They are probably happy that you said something.

As a Vila owner .... this happens all the time ,, by guests & me.

Just try and remove all broken glass ( it should go to the filter anyway )

Then " Find " another glass .

X glasses at start ... X glasses at finish of stay.

We had 6 knifes go missing one time ....... We found out

that the 8 year old was told to get a " Lunch Pack " ready for their

road trip home to Miami.. so he packed the knives ... a small " check "

payment was sent as compensation .

I'd be surprised if they charged anyone for breaking something by accident if you call & let them know. They will probably just bring you a new one.
