So. I just bought the Lion King sountrack off of iTunes. And let's just say I'm addicted to it. Anyway. It's got me thinking about Broadway.

So. Broadway.

Have you ever seen any musicals?

If so, which ones?

Which musical(s) would you like to see?

Never been to one.
I saw the High School Muscial. :rotfl:
I would like to see which ever musical.

:rotfl:
I actually heard a rumor that they were going to put that on Broadway.
Sure, I love HSM, but it's not Broadway material.

Uhhh. I've seen:

Rent.
Hairspray.
Aida.
The Lion King.
Phantom of the Opera.
Oklahoma!.
The Music Man.
Fiddler on the Roof.
Guys and Dolls.

But, none of these on Broadway, unfortunately.

And West Side Story, Hair, the Producers, and High School Musical if movies of them count. I haven't seen the theatrical production of those four.

And I'd like to see Cats, Wicked, and Urinetown.

LK is the only real broadway I've ever seen. I've seen other plays though.

I'd pretty much kill to see Cats.

Oh &*!@.

I missed Cats a few weeks ago.

Dang it.

But I'll be seeing Mama Mia! in June.

This is my kind of thread! :) lol

Not gonna list them all, but I've seen 23 Broadway musicals. :)
My favorites include:
Les Miserables
Wicked
Rent
Avenue Q
Aida
Phantom of the Opera
Spamalot
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

And the ones I want to see?
Mary Poppins
Jersey Boys
Spelling Bee
Wicked, Rent, and Avenue Q again. :)

And... I am going to see the revival of Les Miserables on SATURDAY! Les Miz is my favorite musical (and it was the first one I saw on Broadway when I was 9, and I've already seen it 2x before) and I was sooo excited that it was coming back to Broadway. So for Christmas, my parents got us Row E center orchestra tickets! yay! :) lol

One. Only been to NYC once...

I saw Beauty and the Beast. <333

I wanna see:
Wicked!
Rent
Mama Mia
Lion King
Mary Poppins

I went to see Beauty and the Beast when I was in fifth grade.

I ended up falling asleep during it.

I have so far seen:

Beauty and the Beast (sister's birthday present and I had to come but it wasn't too bad)

Going to see:

Phantom of the Opera in 6 days. I get to miss school and we have orchestra seats for $30 (because our school has been going every year for a long time now) My class has been going over the whole thing all of this week.
