Broadway show discounts?

while ago I received a mousears email with info on buy one get one Broadway Disney tickets. I do not have it anymore, as I did not think I would be going to NYC...BUT I got a free hotel on lastminutetravel.com and now I am. My kids would love Wicked or any Disney show...anyone know where we can get cheap tickets or discount?

www.broadwaybox.com has discounts for many shows posted. it's the first place I go for discount Bway tix. Standing in line at TKTS with kids and wasting a couple of hours of vacation is not fun..especially in the cold. You can usually get tix for about the same price using broadway box's roundup of discounts. Broadway box will link you to telecharge/broadwayoffers.com and ticketmaster, which are the official ticket sellers for Broadway.

You will NOT find any discounts for Wicked (or Lion King) as it's usually a sell out.

Sign up at www.playbill.com - they often have some good discounts. There are usually fewer for the weekends than during the week but we have found some good deals on the weekend. Don't expect to see discounts for the Lion King or Wicked, but you will often see Disney show discounts. Sometimes we have been able to get discounts as good as you do at the Tickts booth at Times Square, and you can print the tickets out before you leave so you don't waste time standing in line. I checked this evening and they have discounts for the Little Mermaid and Mary Poppins. For the Little Mermaid there are some blackout dates. Discounts Tues-Thurs evening are a lot better than Wed matinee, Fri and Sat evening. For Mary Poppins you can save $40 on Mezzanine seats and it look slike it is every day.
