I love Broadway, and since I live so close I can go and see a lot of shows.
Next week (wednesday) I'm going to see Spring Awakening possibly twice in one day...or SA and another show...maybe Legally Blonde?

I am SOOOO psyched for the Tony's tonight. The original cast of Rent is performing, in honor of Rent closing, which is what I think I'm most excited about! Like honestly, I've been counting the days. And Lion King is doing Circle of Life, because they've been running for 10 years now. And everything else is normal, but I still can't wait! My recent news=I'm going to one of Idina Menzel's concerts promoting her new album at the Town Hall in NYC on June 25!! Awesomely amazing. It's the day after finals end, and I'm going with my best friend Mary. It's gonna be so cool :)

Sounds fun! I went to a IM concert a while ago. It was fun.

Lucky duckies!! I heart Idina!!

And she'll be on the Tony's tonight!! RENT!!

And lucky, SA twice...I'm trying to convince my mom to let me see it.

Get this: she'd let me see Avenue Q, and has let me seen RENT, but won't let me see SA!

GAHHHH!!!

Thats the Parent Guide to Spring Awakening...hopefully it can convince your Mom.

My theatre groupe is going to see SA and the kids are 13 and up. All the Moms are totally OK with it. The show prieches (sp?) communication. Its basically an open door for parents to talk more with their kids.

Anyone watching the Tonys?

When I went to NYC over spring break, we saw In the Heights and Sunday in the Park with George, both of which were amazing, and then Spamalot....

So anyone watching them? What do you think so far?

Watching them now.
The Lion King was amazing.
I think I saw a little of In the Heights on the Today Show or some news channel one day.
It looked cool.
Enjoying it so far.
