Chicago is about...well, the city of Chicago in the 1930's.

See, this woman murders her lover (she's married but had an affair), so she gets arrested and has to go on trial. The trial ends up being flashy and big, and she ends up as "innocent" (when she really did it).

She meets this showgirl who murdered her husband and twin sister and well...
