ok, so me and my best friend were thinking, why dont we combine our birthdays and do something. we decided that we would like to go to New York for one night and see a play with her mom and my mom. we are trying to raise most of the money, you know, babysitting, allowance, stuff like that. but so far, its getting really expensive. there is a big chance with our moms that we would be able to work this out. like a HUGE chance.

so any ideas on how to go cheap? we aren't expected to pay for the whole thing, we just want to so it'll take less off of our parents and there is a bigger chance that we could go. we wanted to go see The Little Mermaid. we are settling on the back row/balcony tickets but they are still 64.99 (cheap)

help?

go at rush...

tickets generally are cheaper and up closer...

from what i've heard. I've never been to a real broadway play as i live on the west coast.

I'm just posting the crazys out of this but I figured you need help so I'll look for you :] But if you can wait until February and you and your friend are 17 or younger there are 2 days where you can get into the little mermaid for free with your parent who pays for the tickets.

I wouldn't see Little Mermaid. I liked it, but didn't love it.

If I knew both of your likes/ dislikes I could reccomend a few shows for you.

I would go to TKTS also. They get really cheap tics. Also, broadwaybox.com has some great discounts.
