BROADWALK INN or VILLAS???

Let me start by saying I have NO CLUE as to what the DVC is all about but many DISer's on other forums have suggested I POST here.

I would like to inquire about RENTING a room or a villa for JANUARY 2007!

Is it to early? What do I need to do? I am leaving on the MAGIC on Feb 3, 2007 and would like to spend a few days prior to the cruise in WDW!

That being said, my DS and his DGF would like to spend a week in BWI or Villas but they would stay ONE WEEK. We would all come down together around 1/31/07 and they would stay a complete week!

I would like to get rates! If I go this option, how do I get the Hopper Tickets or Magic Your Way packages, the Disney Dining Plan and the ME??

You can rent points for Boardwalk Villas. Read over this http://www.wdwinfo.com/dvc/renttrade-faq.htm

You need to find out how many points you need with the point calculator then find a member that has the points available. BWV owners can make ressies 11 months out.

When you rent points you can not get a magic your way package or any specials that Disney may be offering like ticket upgrade. You can get the dining plan when renting dvc points.

There are several informational thread at the top of the Rent/Trade Board which may answer some of your questions about how to rent.

When you know your exact dates, resort and what size villa you'll want, then post that request on the Rent/Trade Board. DVC members cannot make reservations using points at the BW Inn- only BW villas.

DME and the dining plan may be added to DVC reservations and MYW tickets may be purchased at the resort or in advance from a variety of sources. You might post on the DVC Planning Board for more information about those options, programs and resources.
