broadband over power lines?

Has anyone tried this?

I just got a notice that we were selected for a trial of this connection.

They are putting it in in our neighbourhood and needed 25 households to test it.
it is completely free for the trial and no commitments afterwards.
They are sending out all neccesary equipment and such after the 15th.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Nope, I never have. But I thought it might help to bump this back to page one.
