Has had a baby boy...but here's the part I thought was interesting:

The baby boy was delivered around 2 a.m. at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Us Weekly reported on its Web site Wednesday, citing an unnamed family source. The child was delivered by a scheduled Cesarean section procedure, People.com reported.

Who the heck schedules a Cesarean at 2am???

Not me. My DD was delivered by Cesarean at 3:00am. I was soooooo tired.
Only Brittney I guess!

What I thought was weird was that on the Comcast home page, the head line is "Britney gives birth to another boy?" Why the question mark? Just struck me as funny.

I read that she'd been saying she was having a girl.

Probably written by a reporter who was exhausted after having to stalk the 2am c-section...

Oh, well that makes more sense, but they never mentioned that in the article. :confused3

Well, wishing her well with the new baby. Two in a year...wow. God bless her, that is rough.

That's funny, that's what I thought too. :confused3 :teeth:

I heard on the radio that Britney really wanted to have the baby on September 14th (the birthdate of her first child), but that K-Fed put his foot down and wanted the kids to have their own birthdays. Why would she want her kids to share the same birthday?

I hear you, I wouldn't want that either. But, I know quite a few people who actually hope for that (if the due dates are close to another birthday). I find it strange. :confused3

i have brother-sister cousins who share the same birthday, 5yrs apart. I remember Glenn crying his eyes out because not only did his mother miss his birthday, she brought home a baby GIRL :goodvibes It was just one of those things, no C-sections involved.

On the other hand, my own sister had her boys 14yrs apart on exactly the same date--Dec 21. And her boys are thrilled to share their day. In fact, they are more upset about having their birthdays so close to Christmas than the fact that they share the date.

Any possibility the surgery was scheduled for the 14th, but nature took it's own course and there was no choice but deliver at 2:00 a.m?

Guess not.

With DD I was due 3 weeks after DS's birthday - unfortunately I developed severe pre-eclampsia and they hospitalized me on DS's 3rd birthday - I was in a panic over that!!! They decided to run tests and induce me the next day so I was greatful - she ended up being born 24 hours after they induced me so their birthdays are 2 days apart. Far enough so that they each get their own day but close enough that I can group the family party together :)

LOL, poor Glenn...

I would obviously not have a big issue with it happening naturally, just chalk it up as a coincidence...but I wouldn't hope for it.

I actually planned my last two pregnancies so that they kids would not share birth months. Not an obssession, just aimed for the birthdays to be spread out somewhat. Mainly because in my family there are so many birthdays clustered in a few months. June and December. It kind of takes away from it all when you have everyone celebrating multiple birthdays to make things easier.

I heard that 2 people in the delivery room with her were her Mom & her sister.

K-Fed put his foot down, then didnt show up anyways? :confused3

I still say she probably wanted to have it at 2:00 am because the hospital is quiet then, it probably threw off reporters, and there was more of a chance for privacy.

That's why the stars never can send out wedding invitations unless they want helicopters hovering over the ceremony - they need to do things as quietly as possible for privacy.

I think I read that he was there for the birth. I dunno.

When DS11 & DD13 were little, I used to plan separate parties for them on the same weekend. We always used the same theme for both, but they each had their cake and their friends. As they got older we stopped for obvious reasons--DD wanted a glamour party and DS didn't need that :rotfl: But for awhile there we really got our money's worth out of the decorations

Emily was born 6 days before Hannah's first birthday. We have always had a joint party for them. I am sure once they get a little older, they will want their own parties, but it's all good for right now.
