Hey, I mean, I only saw a little snippet of it on the news, but it looked pretty bad. My mom tivo-ed the whole thing, so maybe I'll check it out later. But I don't know if it was supposed to be part of the act or something (I mean the whole her looking like she was on Mars), and if it wasn't, which I know it wasn't, I too kinda feel bad for her. She must have literally had no idea what she had to do. But body wise I thought she actually looked alright.

wow, I saw a clip of it on the news and what I've heard from students at school she wasn't even lip synching it was worse! she had no idea what she was doing and that outfit isn't very apropriate. but I have to say was that her real hair?? it grew back fast! but her body looked good after 2 kids.

I personally think she was terrible, i mean you could see that she was lip syncing ! you think if she was going to do a show shed at least practice to make it look real or even actually sing !

And that girl the comedian or w/e(her name escapes me) that talked after her performance was flat out rude. I mean you dont talk about or make fun of people in front of there face. She was extremly rude, and know no one was even laughing. You especially dont make fun of Britney Spears i mean she might destroy your car with an umbrella !!!

Haha, were you watching the same thing? She obviously WAS singing because she didn't know the words and nothing was coming out of the speakers. But I have to agree, she probably hadn't practiced because she didn't know the dance moves either. OR, she was so terrified, she froze up and forgot everything.

The comedian said she didn't want to make fun of her, but it's her job. She IS a comedian, and she IS supposed to make fun of funny things.

Britney's performance was a disgrace to the VMAs. I'm sorry but what kind of lip syncing was that? And her outfit? Wow.. And the looks on Chris Brown and 50 Cent's faces. Too funny.

But I love Sarah. She's just so funny with the way she rips up celebs. I love it.

i pretty much don't think that would ever happen.
because they live such glamourous, amazing, lives and have everything. We, the commoners, pry into their lives so we can have a glimpse at what it would be like to be one of the 'elite ones'. And when they fall, it makes 'the common people' feel better about their lives.
It's an escape for some people I think.

And THIS particular situation isn't really prying...the performance was on stage, publicized on TV for millions of people to see.

I just have to say, someone needs to save Britney. She's on a downward spiral that's just gonna keep on spiraling. She needs someone to control her, because she obviously can't.


Oh and someone mentioned the umbrella incedent. Ya, it was a crazy thing to do, but at that time Britney was just told she couldn't have her kids and she was extremely extrememly frusterated. A photographer pulling up couldn't help the situation.

I really hope Britney gets some kind of reality check and get's herself better.


It's funny how when Kevin and her first broke up, I really rooted for her. I thought "Oh, she'll turn into the good ol' Britney Spears and start performing again. Really make something of herself now that HE'S out of the picture." But now, I kinda hope Kevin get's those kids for a while, at least until Britney can go through some SERIOUS rehad and counseling. Not just a few days or even a month, but some serious stuff.

I'm still rooting for her, I really hope she get's her life together. Those kids need a mother.

Oh and BTW, Caitlin I completely agree with whatcha said.
