Mariah Carey lasted for about a summer. Or something along those lines. She had about 4 singles, two of them sounded exactly the same, and the other was overplayed.
Goodness only knows where she is now.

I don't know what it is, because I was never a die-hard Britney fan, but for some reason I really want things to work out for her. I really WANT her to grow up, get a life, get some responsibility, and make a comeback. Her songs used to be good, her dancing used to be impressive, and she was the poster-girl of every guy's dreams. So I don't know, I guess I just hope that she can be an example that you can get through bad times.

I've never been a fan.
But I hope she can pull her life back together. If not her career, just everything else. I do feel a little sorry for her. But for the sake of her kids and her family and everbody involved I hope things get better for her.


I don't think she's going to make a comeback in her career.
But if she is going to try, it's better than not trying at all.
And who knows, maybe she will get it back.

Timbaland (sp?) didnt even want her to perform, so he probably knows how much shes gonna fail at it.

I love Britney Spears. Please, don't try to change my mind by telling me all the bad things she has done. Yeah, I know she is not exactly a role model. But I truly want her to succeed. She always seemed like a nice person in interviews, and I think becoming so famous so young really screwed her up. I can't even imagine what it must be like always being in the public eye, like she is.

Speaking about Mariah Carey, her singles did sound the same. At the time everyone loved them but if you listened to them you would notice they sound so much alike!

As for Briteny Spears, I dont I'm still skeptical about it because you never know. There's alot of people who dont like her, yet alot of people who do!

Spears' career is about as dead as Kurt Cobain. I don't see a point in her coming back. The manufactured pop era is dead, and even the rap era is waning. More people are returning to country and rock and roll. We don't need her garbage. All she is now is a freakshow.

I just saw the VMA video of her. I didn't think it was THAT awful. Was it 18-19 year old Britney? NO! But is she 18-19? NO! DID she or did she NOT have children? She DID! Look at most women (NORMAL here) who have children. They gain weight and everything sags and she gets up there in that tiny getup WHICH I doubt was her choice. You know what I saw in her performance? FEAR! She was not comfortable acting like that. She wasn't comfortable wearing that outfit. She didn't know the moves down-pat, and every girl around her was 18-19 year old Britney-like so she was being compared to all those dancing around her. She was terrified! You could see it in her eyes and in her face. There were a few moments she gave a true smile and that is when you could tell she felt "real." She had not performed for a crowd like that in forever, and all people can say is "Britney failed." For cripes sakes people have a heart!!!

i use to collect all the dolls and posters even gum wrappers anything you could imagine threw it it all out like a couple years ago. I mean she can try and make an effort with this comeback ordeal but i dont think it will quite stick because she might do something else extreme which idk what that could be she pretty much accomplished that within these 2 or so years. But in the end i will probably end up downloading many songs off the new album just to mock her cause thats always a good time

She looked terrified. She didn't know what she was doing or singing. I felt bad for her. Sure, she doesn't have that super skinny, Old-Britney body, but she still looked fine. Maybe not quite right for a sparkley bra and panties, but she looked fine. It would have been a lot better if she had walked up there with confidence, but I didn't see any of that.
