In my family, we are big fans of BBC America (although I can take or leave Trinny & Susanah), but I have some questions about the shows:

Footballers Wives: How many series' were there... I think we got two or three of them... the show ended for us when Jason went off off a rooftop.

Red Cap: I think there were only two series if I am not mistaken... we saw both of them here.

Bad Girls: How many series were there? Does anyone know?

The Kumars at No. 42: How long has this show been around? and do any of you lot find it as funny as I do?

Thanks!

HI, I'll try to answer, Footballers Wives, when Jason fell off the roof I think that was at the end of series 2, theres been one more series since I think plus a spin off 'extra time' raunchier (if it could possibly get that way) series.
Don't watch Red Cap - bad girls has been going for ages now, have they killed off yvonne atkins yet? 'cos I'm sure theres been one series since then, or it may be two, sorry, I'm no good at this!
The Kumars I adore - but not as much as goodness gracious me, now that was hilarious!! got a friend in Delhi who I send dvds of it out to, 'cos he thinks its the funniest thing ever!

footballer's wivesis my fav program, and carolfoy was right in what she said!
bad girlsis also my fav program, and i think we have just finished the fourth series? but i might be wrong!
and the others i dont watch!
kilted yank; do you happen to watch eastenders? because if you do what episode are you on at the mo?
thanks

The Kumars is very funny, I think they only did a couple of series though...don't watch the rest and have never heard of Red Cap....

I think there were three series of Red Cap. I'm sure it ended when Jo was shot and her commanding officer admitted he was in love with her.

Did I read today that Joan Collins will join Footballers Wives? I may have imagined it although if so i may need help.

Is BBC AMERICA readily available? I have never noticed it before in any of the villas I have stayed in...had trouble on some occassions last year getting my wife to come to Disney with me and Joshua, 'Little House On The Prairie' was on quite a bit. :)

I've seen it once or twice a few years ago... but I couldn't tell you any details about what it was.

My wife lived in the UK for 8 years, once upon a time, and was/is quite a devotee of Coronation Street.

Right... that is where it ended for us as well.

Thanks for the info, Kaylee... a big help as always.

Johnny,

BBC America is available here via satellite... we have DirectTV, which also gives us Setanta Sports USA... so I get to watch my rugby.

More Questions:

Did any of you watch "Night Detective"? I saw it for the first time last night.

I have finally found the answer to your question, Florence!

In the UK, the show was called 55 Degrees North, and it starred Don Gilet and Dervla Kirwan.
