British Sweets

Cadbury is nice chocolate, but nothing beats the English version of the Twix bar. I don't know what they do to it, but it tastes 50 times better than the American version.

They sell the English version in Canada as well. I have a stash from my last trip across the border which is starting to run low.

:thumbsup2if you like malt balls, try malteaser in England, they are ...Awsome!... We used to live in England and got hooked on them. We can get them at our Meijers store at home. We were in London last week and made sure to have some. They seem popular in Paris also (we are here now).

Yep. Closed the Hershey, Pennsylvania plant, laid off the work force. I'm not buying the product anymore and sold my stock in the company. Just thought you should know... It will be interesting to see if they come out with a cinamon chili version (Mexican chocolate). There is a sort of "come full circle" since chocolate was discovered in Mexico, I suppose.

It's kind of like a lemon/lime based drink, but it's almost radioactive!
I used to love it when they sold it over here but damn PepsiCo saw fit to take it off sale so I drink as much as I can when I'm in America :thumbsup2

:goodvibes

Aoh! MOuntain Dew is soooo sweet, yes, almost sickening sweet. Go for the diet variety. So much better unless you are a sugar fan:)

My dad won't buy Hershey anylonger either. I do love their dark chocolate bars though! We live near Hershey and I have to admit I look forward to Chocolate World and buying some chocolates:) I love this thread, as an honest chocoholic, it's awesome to hear of other products to try! Chocolate anything is worth checking out:) keep it coming... The Internet will take care of the rest:)

Chocolate talk!!!!!!! Ok, Stella and I just tried the Cadbury Twisted bar!!! Is this something you can get all year? I love the Cadbury Easter eggs, but we can only get them in the spring. We were fighting over every bite. :lovestruc

Teresa--- some of the Orlando area Publix carry some of the good Cadbury/British chocolate for a more reasonable cost than the EPCOT stores.

We used to be able to get some European candies/treats at Cost Plus/World Market, but it has been over a year since we been to our local store.

Yes the Twisted bar is out all year long. We can only get the creme eggs here in the spring ( well usually on the shelves the week after Christmas)

Molly look a long time choosing what was to go in the box so will be happy you enjoyed it :)

Maybe have to fill my suitcase in October and open my own stall at F & W ;)
