My friend is British and lives in US, she is having an old fashion British Christmas party for our kids, with games and treats. I would like to take something, but instead of the typical American cookie, I'd like to try something more British. The kids will mostly be aged 7-10 (maybe a dozen & a few moms).
Any ideas ?:confused3
I'd have been happy to order some Cadbury chocolates, etc... but way too late for that.:sad2:
Thanks so much !!

Mince pies are the most obvious Christmas treat - served with mulled wine for the adults.;)

Thanks for the input... I have decided to go with the short bread cookies, I saw a recipe where they dipped one end in chocolate, so I'll do dome plain and some with the dipped end.
The Millionaire short breads look awesome, but not enough time to give those a try...I will once the holiday rush is over !! Thanks for the recipe !!
Have a great Christmas & Happy Boxing Day !!
