british army discounts??

hi thought this might a a place to ask this question, have a friend who is going to florida this year he is just finished his time as a soldier in british army but still works as an advisor to them , is it possible for him to receive any discounts in florida as military personnel or is it only for american servicepeople ?

hope someone can help or if you could point me in the right direction ??

My understanding is that the Shades of Green (military) discounts only apply to foreign military members stationed on an American military.
