We are booked on the September 11, 2022 British Isles Cruise. Flying from NJ to Heathrow, British Airways is available with Disney Air.
Just wondering if anyone has experience with them. We have the flights on hold, payment due on PIF date and we have up until May to cancel. I will continue to watch other flights. Due to ever changing world conditions I'm not ready to fully commit yet!

BA is a world-class airline, with amenities and services on par or better when compared to other national airlines - Air France, Air Canada, etc. We flew many times with them over the years. They are far from perfect - we've had a couple of problems - but they are the same problems you could face on any other airline (a missing luggage once, missing specialty meal...).

The main advantage of flying them from London is that they use their own terminal in Heathrow. The Queen's terminal is one of the more recent terminals in the world, and it shows. It's nothing like American airports.

We flew British airways for a NCL British isle cruise. We were comfortable on the flight and they accommodated our inflight GF food request (it wasn’t the best meal but it was edible). Our flight was late leaving MIA and there’s an EU rule about compensation if a flight is late over a certain amount of time. I filed all the paperwork and we got back a few hundred dollars per ticket, it took a few months but I’d did eventually show up in our bank account.

BA code shares with American which can make things easier if there are issues. No problem flying BA.

Have flown them a few times. It depends what cabin you are flying in. Economy is just like economy on most major carriers. Where the carriers start to distinguish themselves is in business class and above. It looks like BA flies the 777 from NJ. Take a look at the premium economy seats (World Traveller Plus). You still get economy service but the seats are comparable to domestic first class seats. Much more room. We are on the Norway cruise just before your British isles cruise. 🙂
