I've read lots of raves but don't know much about them. I understand they make the FL water taste better.

Please tell me more!

It is a sports bottle that has a large twist on top for filling and a smaller twist on top that you drink out of (this is kind of like the pull up top of some of the sports drinks or the dish detergent bottles.) A filter fits inside the smaller hole. When you drink the water goes through the filter and magically tastes pretty good. I don't like the water in Florida and with the bottle, it doesn't taste any different from the filtered water from my refrigerator. It is well worth the money. You will need to change the filter after a certain amount of gallons, but it has a decent life span.

I put ice in mine each morning and will ask at food places if I can get ice and water (removing the large cap with filter first). I've never had anyone say they can not do this, but I always ask following purchasing a meal. You can also fill the bottles at the water fountains. The bottles are not insulated, so ice will not last a very long time, but the water will taste much better using the Brita. You can also buy bottle straps from the vendors selling water in the parks. This way, you can put the bottle over your shoulder and forget about it. The bottles seal, so you do not have to throw your drink away to enter an attraction.

Hope this helps.

I got ours in our supermarket. Look near the bottled water & the water filters. It should be there. Good luck!

I just picked up the Brita water bottles at our local Walmart. They were in the hardware department where they keep water filters and such. Just ask if you can't find them. I tried them out when I got home...our tap water isn't the best...and the water tasted great! I think they were about $6 each.

I purchased mine at the local CVS. After reading the boards, I was looking for them. My job requires me to be in drug stores daily, and CVS was the only one I could locate these bottles at.
Good luck. It works great.

We used ours last May and I am picky about the way my water tastes, they worked really well. We stayed in a house, so we filled the bottles halfway with water, at night, and froze them, the ice lasted longer. Jusy don't freeze with the lid on, it ruins the filter. Make sure you run at least 3 bottles of water through the filter before you drink it, otherwise you'll get a mouthfull of charcoal dust water. ;)

I am SOOOO not picky about water--I am usually a tap water person wherever we go. However, at WDW we took the Brita bottle and I am very glad we did! I had been drinking water only from the Brita till once I got a drink straight from a drinking fountain and I actually gagged because of the rotten-egg taste!

The Brita handled the taste problem completely, IMO. We got our Brita at Wal-Mart in the water filter section. I saw them yesterday at Target, also in the water filter section.
