We have those bottles with the filters, so we can refill all day long. But where? I don't mind the bathroom but this skeezes my husband out so I need to have a plan of action for the man. I know you can get free water from any vendor but I'd feel like I was exploiting them if I asked for four 20 0unce bottles to be refilled!

There are a bunch of water fountains scattered around if you don't mind tap water. They are often near the bathrooms and there are some in ride queues. There are also a few stations that have filtered water in Tomorrowland near Galactic Grill, in the seating area for Rancho Del Zocalo and a couple of other places that I don't remember.

What we usually do is ask for 2-4 cups of water every single time we buy something from a CS place (meals or snacks), and we share one cup of water with the food and dump the rest in the water bottles. I feel weird about asking for cups of water if we're not buying anything, but I'm pretty sure they would be fine with it. If we run out of water but we're not planning on buying food soon, then we go to a filtered water station if there's one near by or just use water fountains.

In addition to the ones Niltiac mentioned, there is also a filtered water fountain over by the Mint Julep Bar (to the right of the order/pick-up windows when facing them). I've read that there is another fountain over by the Plaza Inn, but I haven't looked for that one.

I can't think of any over in DCA, so I've asked for cups of water at the CS locations in that park. They won't be able to refill your water bottles if they have to take the bottles behind the counter. For that, they'll give you cups of water (the default is the child size, so you'll need to ask for the larger/regular sized cups if you don't want to have to use a bunch of cups).

How does the water actually taste at DL? We always take Britta bottles to WDW because apparently Florida is a swamp :drinking::P:-) Is SoCal anywhere near as bad?

In addtion to the spots already mentioned, there is a filtered water station in the Red Rose Tavern.

I always carry my brita bottle. Definitely wouldn't refill at water fountains or bathrooms. We always ask for cups of ice water at quick service restaurants. Sometimes we ask for one water and one ice. The water stays cold longer. Have a great trip!

Don't use the sinks in the bathroom or the water fountains. They both produce cloudy looking water. Go to Rancho Del Zocalo for the water dispenser they have outside in the seating area. While your there get the street tacos or the taco salad. They both are great.

You can use the water fountains in both First Aid stations (by Plaza Inn and the Little Red Wagon in DL and next to Chamber of Commerce on BVS in DCA) to refill water bottles. The CM nurses at both stations are super nice and encourage everyone to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! The fountains are clean (!) and are the only ones we trust in the parks. As pp have said, most CS places will give you free cups of ice water to pour into your bottles. Just ask for as many as your need. Starbucks will also give free cups of ice water. And you can use the soda fountain filtered water at Plaza Inn (use a glass for the water, then pour it into your bottle -- they don't want you to put the bottle right up to the spigot).

If the OP feels awkward about asking for enough cups to fill a 20 oz. bottle, just refill as you go instead of waiting for the whole bottle to be empty. Asking for 1 or 2 cups of ice water whenever you remember as you pass CS locations (some places even keep cups handy by the pick up windows) should keep the bottles full enough throughout the day.

Lots of people complain about the taste of the tap (unfiltered) water in Anaheim, but the filtered water is usually fine, especially when it is ice cold. Your Britta bottles should take care of any aftertaste. If the water flavor bothers you, lots of people here use the single serve packets of Gatorade, Crystal Light, etc. to flavor the water with good results.

There is also a water dispenser at Tomorrowland Terrace/Galactic Grill. If you get water from a QS place they will give it to you in a Disney cup. They won’t take your bottle and fill it. I would avoid going to Coke Corner specifically for water as they will only give you the little cups when you ask for water.
