I think if I was to pick (1) of the most helpful tip I used on the board was to get Brita Water bottles! They were the absolute best!!!!

I found the water in Disney to be absolutely DISGUSTING!
The taste PLUS the smell would make me sick. There would be no way I would be able to take a bath. It was bad enough taking a shower.....I used the water from my Brita bottles to brush my teeth. ick!

And unfortunately the smell of the water, which reminds me of the smell of sulfur, was everywhere! The waterfalls at the polynesian, epcot fountains, etc. But lucky me wasn't spending $2.00 a bottle everytime I turned around.

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO SUGGESTED THOSE WATER BOTTLES!!!
3 cheers for you! :cheer2:

Im bringing mine this time thanks to the tips. Also, Crystal Light came out with one serving mixes (Rasberry and Lemonade) so I will be adding that to the water as well! I was really surprised how much water we drank even though it was cold back in Feb. All that walking around makes you thirsty! Of course this time Im pregnant so I really need to drink up. I wont be spending the $2 a bottle either!

The smell of the water at WDW use to make me sick to my stomach. Since we've moved to Florida in 2000, I no longer notice the smell of the water.

I've never noticed any problem with the water at WDW in 17 trips. I drink the tap water all the time.

Disney's tap water is better then what we have here at home. We drink Disney's tap water all the time.

O.K I just checked the local walmart for britta bottles and found large ones only (pitcher size) Do they have sports bottle size and if so where do you get them? We usally drive and bring our own bottled water but we are flying this time and space is a issue. Is there any one who could respond please !Thank you.

ITA

I've never had a problem with water there.

They do have sport bottle sizes (one is plain and the other has a flag on it) and also small filters to go with it. They should be in the water filter section (thats where ours is). Sometimes theyre hard to see-our store keeps them on the bottom shelf and since theyre smaller than the other ones, you really have to look for them. They come in a tall square box and theres a section removed from the box so you can partially see the bottle. Maybe they are out of them or dont even carry them too.

OH YUCK! I couldn't even stand the smell. There was NO way I was able to drink it. I spit it out! To me and DH is had such a smell & taste of sulfer. But that's just us.

I bought our bottles and replacement filters off ebay. It was just out of convenience. If someone needs who I bought them from on ebay, just PM me, and I can see if I can find their screen name. They arrived fast, and brand new :cool1:

I took a Brita bottle last time and used it the first day. I got tired of lugging it around. I didn't have a problem with the water. It tasted different that my water at home but it wasn't disgusting to me.

You know I can't even remember were I found mine - I looked in walmarts and they did not have them where I live - then I was visiting colorado and I think they had them there - I tried walgreens and target etc... they were hard to track down - but I am glad we got them. Very clean water.

They have discontinued the product since God-knows-when (as per Brita's website). Whatever you see on the shelves are just the leftovers (and they have LOTS of leftovers).

Thanks for that info. I will have to buy some tomorrow. Our Walmart has them in the hardware section near the shower heads, etc. They had some by the regular waterbottles, too.

We could not find them this trip so we are buying water at a grocery store on the way.

That's their Australian division. It's been discontinued in North America.

I am the same, as a matter of fact, Disney's water smells better & tastes better than mine. My water has a very high sulfer count.
