Brita Pitcher

For those of you that use these at WDW, do you find it gets rid of the chlorine taste? I find even for making coffee, the water gives my coffee an odd taste. Just want to see if it's worth buying.

I've always seemed to have pretty good luck with the Brita. I fill it as soon as it's unpacked, then each time I use some, I always top it off to keep it onhand, so maybe letting it get cold helps (not sure on that though).

Anyone else taste a difference. I looked and we'd need the larger pitcher for $40. The small one only makes 4 cups!

while we were at DW last week we just bought the gallon sized bottled water a the resort store.

We find the water at Disney has a very bad taste too! - We have used a Brita and amazingly it does a great job --we use it for both drinking water and coffee ...water tastes great!

We only drink bottled water in the parks as we can taste the water in fountain drinks too.

Not bashing FL water ..we don't care for our MA water either and use brita at home too!

We keep a pitcher in our Owners Locker and use it every trip. We don't make coffee, but we drink mostly water and lemonade, and I cannot stand the taste of the tap water at WDW. We bought our pitcher and a pack of 10 filters at Costco. I think the pack of filters was less than $40.00, and at around $4.00 a trip for filtered water, that's a deal compared to buying it from Disney. I hate to pay Disney's prices for water--just one of my many issues.

Thanks Peggy Sue. Sounds like we feel the same about the taste of the water. You wouldn't think so, but NYC has the best tasting water in the US. Wonder why Florida water has a strange taste to us?
