We are renting a house just outside the WDW area. The owner told me the water at the house tastes bad and she recommends bottled water. Well there are 5 of us and between me,dh and dd we drink over a gallon a day. That's alot of bottled water. I was wondering if the pitcher will filter out the sulfa taste/smell. Anyone try this?

Thanks,
Kimba

I was wondering this as well...I bought a small Pur pitcher for our fridge at POFQ instead of carrying water bottles...anyone else tried this?

During our last trip, we used a Brita pitcher in our rented condo and it really took out all the sulpher taste. We also carried the Brita filter bottles with us to the parks. We'll be staying in a different rental home for two weeks this year, and wouldn't consider doing it without the Brita pitcher and bottles.

The Brita pitchers work fine in Fl. By the way, we spent a week in Williamsburg,VA at a condo last summer and the water in our room was awful. I had the Brita sports bottle with me and used it to filter water (by squeezing it) into other water bottles. That held us over until we bought bottled water.

JoannaOhio- I just posted a reply and it came up under your name. How did that happen?

Beats me! The only two replies I see have your name on them.

We'll be bringing the pitcher...maybe even a second one!
I guess we might have to buy some gallon jugs too.

Thanks Again!

On our last WDW trip my DH bought 2 Brita squeeze bottles that we used in the parks. They have the filter in them and work great. We were able to fill them with ice at the counter service restaurants and then just fill up with water at bubblers as we toured. We had straps that we could carry around our shoulders or attach to the stroller. It was great because we saved a ton of $ and never had to wait for a cold drink.
We will never travel without them!
