Bristish Invasion status?

I read a thread a month or so ago which indicated that the British Invasion would be gone as of the end of April. Is this still true or has Disney extended their contract? DS is a Beatles nut and he'd get a kick out of seeing an hearing a Beatles clone band.

Anyone know for sure? That's one thing I never miss at Epcot - I so enjoy watching/listening to their show.

Who knows about British Invasion? I hadn't heard that they might not be appearing at WDW anymore. That would be a tragedy. They are one of our don't miss-es!

I hope they continue to be there. British Invasion has always been one of our favorites.

I saw them this afternoon -- Sunday, April 25 -- and they're on the schedule for the rest of the week. There have been no internal communications stating they're leaving (and there WERE internal e-mails sent around about a month or so prior to Masquerade's last day, so it's logical to figure that the same would be done were the Invasion to have scheduled their last day any time soon).

I totally don't get this, because every time we are there we've seen different Beatles players in the band. It's not like BI is just one group of 4 guys.

I've seen them quite a few times, maybe 15-20, and I've always seen the same four men. *shrug*

No, they definitely rotate players. There are some definite regulars, but it seems like we see a different configuration each time we go.

We were up in Gatlinburg a few summers ago and saw a flyer for a guy performing at a local restaurant, and "..Played in the British Invasion" at EPCOT was one of his featured credentials.

Somebody posted a website about them a while back. They can be booked for large corporate parties, where they do a concert that spans the different segments of the Beatles career.

My DH wanted to book them for our next bbq.... haha

I was so hyped up anticipating BI at EPCOT.

Alas, maybe it's a bad day, they sounded tired and definitely sing grossly out of tune (I do have perfect pitch). However, even my DD5 claimed that they sounded bad.

I've seen them preform at WDW dozens of times, I think I've seen the same four guys everytime.I know FOR SURE the one guy has been the same as he really looks like Paul.I have seen them out of costume too and a couple of them are blondes!

I would be crushed if they were to go. I've seen probably 200 shows. There are different guys. Johnny and Jimi seem to be at every show, then I've seen Shawn, Sean, Brian, Brad, Frankie (ooooh, Frankie...... ), Leo. I have a British Invasion t-shirt that I have all the guys sign. It's pretty cool.
