bringing wine on board

I've read that DCL allows each person to bring wine or beer in a carryon onto the ship. So you can consume the wine (with corkage fee) in the dining room or just sitting in your room. But can you use a mug or tumble to take your drink with you to the pool? Who'd know?

Well, no one "would know". But the alcohol policy does state:

• Alcohol brought on board may not be consumed in any lounge or public area.

I guess it's up to your sense of responsibility if you follow the rules.
