Bringing water to SeaWorld?

I was just looking at the Sea World website, and noticed the food & beverage policy. http://seaworldparks.com/en/seaworld-orlando/park-info/food-and-beverage-policy/ Basically, it says that you can't bring large hard or soft coolers, glass containers, food, drinks and picnic lunches may not be taken into the park.

I'm assuming that this means that I can't even bring in a couple of bottles of water? Gosh, I'm going to have to add to my food/beverage budget for that particular day.

They have free water inside the park

I spent several months in Orlando as I was considering a move there - my hotel was very near Sea World so I went a lot over the course of a summer. They are not so strict as to not allow you to bring in a couple of bottles of water - I always brought two with me for myself - usually frozen - and sometimes a sandwich as well. I just didn't bring in a giant cooler with family sized everything - but small items were definitely ok.

Seaworld is a great place to take advantage of refillable mugs, popcorn buckets and the stay, play and dine feature if you want to save money on food.

PS - If you really want a cooler with lunch you can keep it in the lockers outside the gates of the park - leave and have lunch and come back. Honestly though I thought the food was fairly good - I especially loved the fresh fruit available at the park.

Totally agree with Expat....the all-day dining is very reasonably priced, and the food is really quite good. For the same price (or less!) than one breakfast at Chef Mickey, you can get unlimited food all day long at SeaWorld, so the value is there too.

If you don't want to go with the all-day dining (which would provide you with unlimited non-alcoholic beverages all day as well) then consider the refillable cup. For about $8.99 and 99 cents for refills (water would be free), you have a great souvenir and drinks to boot. And the cup can be brought back again and again (for the of the cup) and re-used with no fee. Same with the popcorn buckets.

When we went to Busch Gardens in VA they allowed one bottle of water per person to be brought in. I bet all Busch parks are the same.

I was at SW last Sunday. We all carried in 1 bottle of water. They did not make us throw them away. They did look really closely at what a couple was bringing in in a back pack. It looked like lunches and the couple was talking up a storm, saying it was snacks for their kids. Don't know if it was all allowed in.
