I take Vitamin D & B12 each day. I do not need the whole bottle - only one per day for our vacation.
The Vitamin D has a liquid jell inside. The B12 is a solid pill.

How should I travel with them ?
Can I place them in my carry-on bag ?
In their original bottle ? But the bottle will be opened.
Can I pack what I need (D's and B12's) in a zip lock bag ?

Thanks!

ive had wls so i take alot of vits i put them in my daily pill org. some people use a weekly one its fine either way ive never had problem going thru at a airport and i go thru philly

Medications are exempt from the TSA 3-1-1 rules. This includes pills, liquid medicines, contact solution, etc. Only pack medications that you need in your carry-on, DO NOT place them in your checked luggage. Although not necessary, it is wise to keep your pills in the original bottles, but as this is a domestic trip it's not a requirement.

TSA is not drug enforcement. Put your pills in a daily minder, put them in your carry on and you'll be fine.

This is not a problem. I take quite a bit of supplements each day and have no issues carrying my pills on the plane.

Unless there are liquids, just pack them or carry them on in your carry on/purse.

The ONLY things that have to be pulled out are LIQUIDS.

Not a probelm

Thank you! I've always wondered about this but I've toted around nine kazillion original container bottles - OK maybe that's a slight exaggeration but close :rotfl2: .

If you do carry liquid meds or things that need to be kept cold and therefore have a gel pack be sure to tell the TSA agent before you put the item on the belt otherwise they stop everything, back it up, pull you back to ask you what you have, etc. Insulin kits and keep it cool gel packs are part of my every day life and sometimes I forget not everyone carries this stuff around with them or that they could look nefarious on an X-Ray machine. :rolleyes1
