Hi Patti!

Welcome aboard! I have a 13 year old son named Danny.

I believe there is going to be a mini kids meet, so if you are interested send me a pm :)

Deb

Since I'm sure a lot of you will be heading to California soon...I wanted to post on your thread that I hope you have as much fun on your cruise as we did in May. Can't wait to to read your "Live from the August Repositioning cruise"...you are doing a live thread, right?!?!?!?!

of course we will! As soon as we get to the port we'll start fit!

I am so envious as all you seem to be fully prepared for this trip. I haven't even started packing.

I am praying that I manage not to collapse prior to getting on board the Magic.

Wishing you all the best in the remaining several days ahead.

God Bless.

I haven't started packing either. I have been immersed in sewing pirate costumes for my family. I have decided that if I'm not finished by Friday night, the costumes get put aside and laundry and then the packing will get done instead. If I have time to go back to it, I'll finish the last of the costumes. I am getting really cranky with the packing looming, and I really just need to do it. We will be wearing all the icky clothes that get shoved to the back of the closet next week, 'cause all the good stuff will be packed!

Hey Michelle,

How was the wedding?

Deb

Hey Deb, it's this weekend, we leave Friday morning. Rehearsal dinner at Buca Di Bepo Friday evening and wedding on Saturday. At least it looks like your weather is cooling down. However, 97 isn't much different than 107 as far as I'm concerned hot is hot! I did remember the name of the reception place: Beerman's in Lincoln. Thanks for asking :daisy:

I feel exactly like you Valorie! Getting cranky and just want to get the luggage packed. I figure final packing on Wednesday. Save one current outfit for Saturday. Inbetween wear our old yucky clothes and don't go out of the house. Dual purpose here...I don't want anyone to get sick!

Bucca Di Bepo... I like the place. My kids didn't like it. Actually it was the decor..they thought it was strange. It has been cooling down some. If it is under 100 it is not too bad. Low 90's is really good. Be thankful you didn't come 2 weeks ago. It was 107! Hot! It makes me worried on how hot it will be on the Panama Canal.

Lincoln is about an hour from our house. I haven't been to this particular reception place. I'm sure you'll have a great time!

Deb,

Re the games. Allan (BigCheeser) will play Trivial Pursuit. I don't think he'll play many other games - he's a real sore loser especially if he loses to me!!!

Boy can I relate to DeverVal. No packing done yet, trying to get all the school stuff ready for the kids and me first. I'll end up packing on Thursday!LOl, The packing list is helpful, I won't forget a thing!(Thanks Tracy). I'm impressed that you are making pirate costumes, we will settle for tee shirts, oh well.

Have a great day
Patti

No packing by me either. I realized yesterday that my daughter's jazz and ballet classes start the Wednesday after we get back. So yesterday we had to go to the store, get fitted and purchase a bunch of stuff including a new pink bag to hold everything. She has outgrown all of her ballet stuff from last year and this is her first time to take jazz. Today we'll hit the bookstore to get more books to read for the kids. Other than that I think my house holds all the items needed for the trip. They all just have to be packed which will be done next week along with haircuts/colors, manicures, and fresh pedicures.

I'm pretty much all packed, except for hanging clothes (half way through ironing them) and the things we use on a daily basis (mainly stuff for our carry-ons. I have my pedicure tomorrow morning, hair cut on Tuesday, our baby (bird) goes to his Aunt's house on Saturday (then to Grandma's in a week). Then cleaning and finishing the list of Fools events. I'm not stressing too much yet.

Tracy

Not only am I not packed, but I have to go out tomorrow to get some more suticases as one of our old ones is split. Not panicking yet.

Not packed here either! Have most things laying out but nothing packed.
kpgclark - my DD is starting jazz for the first time this year too! Had to go buy new shoes last week so I can relate!
Have all appts made for haircuts/manicure/pedicure etc so just have to wait for the time to pass!
Now where are those suitcases?
