Not sure if this is the right board, but thought I'd give it a shot. How do you bring your trading pins onto the plane? I was thinking I would just bring them in a carry on. Has anyone had any trouble?

My DS took all of his pins in his carry-on last November and we didn't have any problems at all!

This past weekend, we took pins back in our carryon and we saw many people wearing lanyards with their pins on the plane.

You should not have any trouble.

Have a great trip!!!

I've been flying with my pin bag as carry-on since right after 9/11 up until now, and I've never had a problem. Sometimes they search it pretty good, but they've never forced me to check it. In Orlando, they seem to be used to the pins. In Chicago, they tend to look at them more closely, but they still let me through.
On our first flight after 9/11, which was in Nov. of that year, the National Guardsmen were still at the airports. The checkpoint person went to get a supervisor to ask about my pin bag, and while we were waiting, the soldier started chatting with us. He had never known about Disney pins before and was amazed at the whole concept!
