My DS5 is a really picky eater and for some of our meals I would prefer to just bring a sandwich for him rather than order of the menu. Is that allowed?
My other question is in re: to food options at restaurants. Are the servers usually able to alter meals slightly if my son is picky. For example, will they serve pasta without sauce?

Thanks :)

If it is a buffet, character meal, dinner show, etc... you are going to be charged for your DS whether he eats or not

But yes - you can tell them pasta no sauce, or pasta with sauce on the side, etc... just tell your server when they take your order

Yes, you can bring his sandwich except for the the places previous poster mentioned since you'd be charged anyway.

as others have said buffets and all you can he will be charged any way. plus remember that restaurants can not heat anything you bring in for your son to eat. at table serve most will ne able to serve pasta without sauce but at counter serve they might not be able as the pasta is premade. alter meals yes if sub is offered on something else but if not offered most likely not. example you want French fries for his potato but none are served there then most likely not able to sub that

If you're truly concerned, I would feed your DS before going the restaurant (like the sandwich as your example) and then let him order dessert or an appetizer he may like to eat while you guys eat your dinner.
