Hi all,

We're arriving by train and planning on bringing our luggage with us to check in at the hotel. I believe I read somewhere that this means we have to go through the security checkpoint for the park to get to the hotel and must do so with all of our luggage. Is this correct? Is there a separate line for hotel guests?

I know that you can't bring food to the parks but we were planning on bringing food to our room at the hotel - but if we have to go through security won't it get confiscated?

Perhaps I have it all wrong so some clarification would be greatly appreciated!

There isnt a separate line, but it does move quickly. Your cases/bags will be put through a scanner. You'll be fine to take food in, no problem.

Something I noticed last year ay hny was that our cases were scanned from the car park entrance. So I think they're doing this at all hotels now.

You just have to use the scanner at the Security point (right side of the main Security point).

In January I had some bottles of champagne in my bags (4 big bottles because it was my birthday). I just have show them my reservation document, so they could see it was planned for drinking in the room. It was no problem.
Just say that you are going to the Disneyland Hotel, so it won't be a problem.

Why can't you bring food to the parks ?? I always take some cookies, or a sandwich when I going to the parks. In the past it was forbidden, but when it's a small quantity it's ok.
