Is anyone buying a SIM card in Spain to use on the trip for cell phone access? I thought I read some time ago on the East bound trip.

Hey Everyone, you are not going to believe this but we just got home and there was a message from Costco travel. they were notified by disney that we've been upgraded to a cat 6 cabin. we are now in 5142. we were in a cat 10 cabin.

just wondering how everyone will find us?????

Hola,
We spent all day walking, yes I said walking all over Barcelona today, the weather is nice as long as there is a breeze blowing, but when it stops, boy does is get hot quick! We walked from our apartment across from Arch de trumph(sp?) across to Ramblas down to the port and back. Had lunch that consisted of what I consider bait, but it wasn't bad, but DW didn't like lunch looking back at her, so she had soup. Did some shopping and some people watching, all kinds of people watching.
The train system is about the same as London or Paris, but we did manage to get on the wrong train anyway. The rail company has information assistants wearing red shirts that will assist you when you need it, they do speak some english, and my 2 years of spanish from 34 years ago did help a little.
We meet our roommate on Wed. at the airport flying in from Paris for the rest of our stay in Barcelona and then on to the MAGIC for a cruise that we all wil not soon forget.
We also learned today that August is holiday time here, so some of the stores are closed.

Congrats Ellen!

This must be upgrade day as we have also been upgraded. We have gone from a Cat 8 to a Cat 5, and this is only our 2nd cruise.

Can't be too full either if they are dishing out upgrades now.

Can't wait!

Hi Teresa, this is our first upgrade on this cruise. we have been on 4 other disney cruises but have never been upgraded. we always take a cat 10 inside room. for this cruise i scored a SPR and was very happy with that. now i can't believe we have a veranda.

I got a phone call from Disney at 4:00Pm yesturday telling me that I have been upgraded to 6592. I am still intrested in being in the room tour but a little sad I can;t show off a cat 9, but then again this being my ssecind ever cruise with disney and being upgrded to a cat 6 makes up for everytghing.

Once you get on the boat make a note of your change on our notice board on room #7592. It says in the navigator about any changes being put on there so hopefully people should check there first.
