I'd probably put my 17 year old girl in there and assign the two year old to the room, but just have him sleep with me, since that's his preference anyway. My boys are the two youngest. They have six older sisters, ages 8-17.

No, and in fact, even when she is 18, they won't let her stay in the room with younger siblings unless there is a 21 year old or older there also, even if we are next door.

OT, my dogsitter just told me that she might not be able to stay at my house during my entire vacation. I have a special needs Akita with neuro-muscular problems that needs to be at home. Boarding is just not an option, even at the vet. My gal has been very sick lately but is on the mend. I am just beside myself right now. I know that I'm being selfish but I checked with her before I booked in December. I guess she's got a niece's wedding on Sept 15 and has to clean her Dad's house up for company that will be there. I'm trying to be understanding but her Dad only lives 30 minutes away. I guess I'm going to have to find a different pet sitter for part of that time. I feel guilty enough as it is but this might push me over the edge on top of all the stress of her being ill this past month.

Sorry, but I just had to vent a little. Her health has been all I've thinking of and with my husband gone for work M-F each week, we're very best buddies. If you're in need to advice on canine myasthenia gravis, I'm your girl. I'd be glad to speak to anyone if you ever should have a need.

Gee, that's so hard. I'd be crazed - both of my dogs will stay w/family - I rescued them and boarding is too traumatic for them.
The German Shepherd I lost this Jan. had Degenerative Spinal Myelopathy - I can relate w/you.

I don't know how many NY'ers are here, but I did happen to catch in a much earlier post that I might be on the same flight as someone (JFK to Barcelona via Dublin on AerLingus). I'm on the flight on Friday, but I didn't see what day the OP is going. I'm sorry as I forgot who it was and I can't seem to find the post again. I'm not so good at shuffling through 160+ pages.

That's the way I'm getting to Barcelona too, but on July 26 in time for the July 28 med cruise . . . I'll be coming in to the repo cruise from Paris via easyjet. The Aer Lingus price was terrific, wasn't it?

I only booked the flight last week. I paid a little under $550pp with taxes. I don't know if it was a good deal or not, but everything else I saw was more expensive and seats were going fast. I just wanted to book it before it was gone. I see it's already gone up since. I didn't book return flights yet, but as they're just from FL there are a lot of choices and they're relatively inexpensive. Plus we still haven't decided what day we're coming back yet since I like to stay as long as possible and DF usually doesn't.
