How lenient are they way this? Can we bring snacks as I have a 3yr old DD and a 13mo DD and this would save a lot of $$. Also I imagine you can't bring glass bottles into the park but can you brink drinks at all?

i normally bring in a few snacls... some little bags of crackers or something like that... i also bring in a bottle of water.. i think that you can bring in a soft cooler,, but not sure... maybe some other diser can help you out!
have fun!

We were there last week. My children each had a water bottle and a ziploc bag with 2-3 snacks each. No one said anything when they checked bags. The first day they each carried their own bags but this was a pain so we combined everything for the other four days. I had a gallon ziploc with 6-9 snacks (3 kids) in my bag and they didn't say anything.

I did see a softsided cooler one day at Animal Kingdom. But I had read on the their site that coolers are not allowed.

outside WDW at the mystic dunes...wanted to stay in Disney but it seemed more cost effective as the grand parents are going too so there will be 6 of us

I've never heard of any restrictions about outside food.
I doubt if they'd allow a hibachi :rotfl2: .. but sandwiches, snacks and water are no problem.

Enjoy!

Glass bottles and alcohol are the only restrictions that I know of. I like to bring a partially frozen bottle of water w/ me. It thaws during the day and I have ice cold water whenever I want it. Unless you are using DDP, food spending can get out of hand really quickly. Much better to bring in your own snacks and just splurge occasionally on a special Disney treat like Dole whips, ice cream, frozen lemonade, etc. etc.

We always bring bottled water, juice and tea, and several snacks. I saw people with rolling soft collers, and soft ones they were carrying, but I would think they would be a pain to take on a ride with you.:confused3

Do the parks have lockers anymore? Or should we just plan on keeping our small soft cooler in the DD's stroller?

They do have small lockers at all the parks. But keeping it in the stroller might be easier than going back to your locker whenever you want to get something.
