Bringing Drinks to the Pools

Hi,

I was wondering if there is any policy against bringing your own drinks (alcohol or non) to the pools? I'm assuming no glass regardless, but am curious. We are staying at Port Orleans and plan on spending most afternoons lounging at the pool.

Couple weeks ago all the lifeguard said was drinks had to be at least 6 feet away from the edge of the pool. Yes, we had our own drinks.

Correct, no food or drink on the pool deck. But you can have it further back as long as it isn't glass.

We brought down some waters and some cans of beer and would drink them at our table. We saw several people with their own drink bottles as well.

We always bring ours, just no bottles or keeping your drinks on the pool edge or in the pool. Have fun!

You can bring you own. But you can't drink them in the pool.

Agree with above posters. We always bring our own cooler with drinks to the pool.

I did notice at the quiet pools you can bring your drinks in the pool, but the main pool no drinks near/in the pool.

We bring our own drinks. I keep wine or coolers in my room, and use resort mug. Easy to transport since it has a lid.

Are there lifeguards? We stay at POFQ so no quiet pools. That said any another resort (not WDW) we have stayed has signs saying no food or drink in the pool

There are no lifeguards at the quiet pools, but that is a great question about signage. I do not remember seeing any signage stating no drinks in the pool at the WDW resorts we have stayed at, but maybe we missed it????

You can bring whatever you want with you, just no glass. We've brought full meals, snacks, obvious cans of beer, drinks in cups, whatever. It's fine, but we always grab a table. I'm not sure what I'd bring if we only sat in chairs lol.
