Bringing Disney gift cards to use onboard credi?

If I bring Disney gift cards to guest services. Don't hey apply it as shipboard credit?

And if so, and for some odd reason we have money left, do we get it back?

Yes, and yes. Just remember to keep hold of the gift cards for the credit to be reapplied back.

Awesome, I thought so, but I could not find the answer here. I doubt we will have any left..lol. but good to know to keep the cards

You can go to disneygiftcard.com and combine them into one or two cards. You can have $1000 on each card - and it's much easier to hold onto one or two cards than a zillion. The crew member at Guest Services (and all those in line behind you) will appreciate it as well.

You can also combine them into one or two cards and call the number found under Gifts and Amenities up to 3 days before the cruise and buy OBC with those gift cards. Again, they will appreciate it if you have as few as possible.

I was definately going to wait to purchase at least a $500 gift card. Thanks for the tip, I will definitely get the credit applied before hand. I know guest services can be busy for the first few days, and hey I am on vacation, thats definately not a line I want to wait in!
