Bringing decorations from home?

Hi everyone!

I am having my wedding at the wedding pavilion on December 7th of this year. I have bought some things at home to use at the reception hall and wanted to know if others have done this and what they experienced. Does Disney let you bring your own decorations? Do they have someone to set these things up? I will still be ordering some floral decorations through there floral department as well as my bouqet and so forth. However I found some really nice christmas napkin rings, nice christmas centerpieces,etc. I also wanted to have a Christmas tree set up at the Reception hall. I have a tree that I can send down and can get all the decorations I want but I want to be sure Disney will be able to do this as I can not set it up on my big day nor take it down and sent it to my room or wherever. My godmother is a cast member at the Port Orleans French Quarter and I will be able to ship these things to her prior to my big day.

Looking for anyone's experiences with bringing decor with them. Thanks everyone!

We didnt bring anything from home, but we thought about it. I know they have someone that will do it for you, for an extra charge (I want to say it was $30 - but I cant remember). They told us they would set 2 things up for free (we did our place cards and favors). Anything you order from their Floral Department, they will also set up. You may want to ask your EM how all of that will work.

Thanks so much for the reply. It is nice to know that they will do it at least. I will definetly contact my planner this week about it. She is currently on vacation (can't wait for her return, it just can't come soon enough
