Bringing character toys?

The $10 and under "store" is at Downtown Disney, I think near the Disney Art Store. It is not really a "store", no carpet, etc., but you can find things that are under 10 that you will have seen all over the parks.

Thanks - I hadn't remembered seeing anything like that in the guide books (Unofficial Guide or Birnbaum). Hopefully, that description should be good enough to find it...
