I am bringing a twin air mattress for the sake of comfort.

For those who have done this, do you suggest deflating and inflating or just leaving it blown up and standing it against the wall daily?

Perfect, thanks. Just wanted to keep it out of the way of housekeeping. We are staying at All Star Movies (or Music, one of the M's) and those rooms are small!!

What kind of air mattress do you use? I've been staying at the Dolphin because those Disney mattresses kill my back. I'd love to do a single night at CR for a treat, but can't because of those hard mattresses.

We bring one every time, and don't prop it. We stay at BCV so there's a bit more room to just leave it on the floor. Mousekeeping even makes it up for us. It's cute.

Where did each of you get your air mattress? We will be staying part of our trip where one of the teenagers will get to sleep on a hide-a-bed. (sleeper sofa) I was thinking of bringing an air mattress to put on top of the sleeper sofa mattress for some added "bed" as I recall the sleeper sofa mattresses are not more than 4-6" deep. I remember sleeping on those years ago on vacation and it felt like I was sleeping on a hefty bag with springs. I remember NOT getting a good night sleep on them. I figured if we could buy one and bring one to put on top of the existing mattress at night, it would feel like a normal bed. I'm just not sure what to buy. Any recommendations of what to get or what to stay away from?

When we went in April we stopped at a Walmart between the airport and Disney and picked up two matterress at WalMart for 7.99 a piece. We brought sheets with us, saved room in packed bags. We then asked house keeping after our stay if we should find a trash can for them and house keeping said they'd take care of them. The 16.00 we spent was less than a roll a way and more comfortable.

Disney resorts have foam mattress toppers they can provide you for free to make the sofabeds more comfortable. We just stayed in Saratoga Springs and after the first night, requested the toppers. They are very comfortable. DH and I slept on the sofabed for a few nights of our trip and found it comfy enough.
