I was just wondering if there are any problems with bringing an aluminum water bottle like a Sigg bottle in the park. Has anyone had any problems at the bag check area?

TIA :flower3:

Should be fine as long as it's not glass I don't see any reason why it would be an issue.

Janette, thanks for the reply :)

I was just worried that there might be a problem at the bag check since the CM's can't actually see what's in the metal bottles...but I guess there are opaque plastic water bottles that people use w/out issues.

Anyway, thanks again :goodvibes

They aren't looking to see what's in bottles, they are mainly looking for weapons.

And World of Disney sells aluminum bottles (almost picked one up the other day!) so I think you'll be OK. :)

Okay...then I'll move on to something else to obsessively plan for the upcoming trip ;)

I would have just hated to arrive at the gate on the 1st day of our August trip to find out that I should have brought a case of waters instead!

Thanks for putting my mind at ease :)

When I went to WDW last year and they barely checked inside my bag. Sadly, some guards just have a half hearted peek. You should be fine.

We brought them in to DL and WDW with no problem. We did get stopped at security at the airport (since they were empty in our backpacks), they opened them up to make sure we didn't have any liquids inside because apparently they couldn't tell when they went through the x-ray thing and they also couldn't tell what they were at first on the screen till we opened our bags.

I usually have a few cans of Diet Coke in my bag and never have an issue. Only glass containers are.

Should be fine. We pack a large back-pack with soda cans, chips, jerky, Gatorade, fruit, and have never had any issues. We're Disneyland regulars and always lug in our mini 7-11 inside the park.

They don't permit glass or alcohol, I've heard mixed comments about deli style sandwiches, and I once saw a lady get her bucket of KFC chicken rejected. We usually sneak in Carl's Jr. chicken sandwiches, only $0.99 each.
