Bringing alcohol into the parks, allowed or not?

however, having lived in Jersey (LBI) as well, I can say that I never personally saw anyone remotely as asinine as Snooki or the like, but to redneck is something that implies "Deliverance" and all that...same as Jersey Shore invokes to mind a bunch of loud, obnoxious drunks.

And to the PP- yes, it was easy to "read" into your post. You put it in black and white. By saying that automatically, instead of asking a question, it is easy to "read" what you were saying. I feel the same way as you- I don't want a falling down, drooling drunk person on me or my children, but hey...I am not going to tell someone what to do until it physically harms me or mine or it inhibits my ability to move or function. ECVs do not inhibit me, so I don't care. Someone bringing alcohol into the park does not affect me so I don't care. Screaming, bratty children having a meltdown in front of their non-caring parents do not affect me, so I don't care.

Not trying to be ugly or rude but there was no other way to take that. I just wonder sometimes.

The security guards at the bag checks don't have time to check the contents of all the bottles that people bring into the parks. I'm sure they miss a lot - based on the people I know who regularly bring alcohol into the parks via resort mugs and pop bottles - among other things.

This. I don't think they check every mug or bottle that goes into the park. Actually I know they don't. I always have my mug with me in the morning, and they've never checked what I'm drinking. Just to clarify though, I've never snuck in any alcohol. But they've never checked any mugs or water bottles, etc, that I've had with me.

Exactly. Alcohol is the least of their worries. You know how many people sneak weed into the parks and get high.

It's just funny to me how we all spend a lot of money on Disney, but yet we will scrimp n save a few bucks here n there to illegally bring alcohol which is readily available for everyone....once you enter the parks.

Just a note: By no means am I saying we as in me!!!! (In terms of the bringing in alcohol)

Why would they risk getting caught, unless that's the allure.... If I did smoke weed (WHICH I DON'T) I would just smoke it b4 I enter , therefore takinbbg away the possibility of it getting seen..... Maybe (Insert theme park: ) may be a better place for the potheads... Just SAYIN!

I knew some people in college who did acid then went to dw. They said space mountain and small world was the best.

well, some of us Jersey folk see jersey shore and those *** don't immediately come to mind, because the majority of us are not like them. i live at the jersey shore and it didn't even cross my mind that the pp was referring to that show.

AND because of that show, most of the world views Jersey residents as loud obnoxious drunken fools.
