Bringing a friend--what do I need to know?

We are thinking about having DD invite her BFF for part of our WDW trip. We would pay for hotel, food, and park tickets. What do I need to have/think about/do/ask ahead of time? Any tips or suggestions?

Things I can think of off the top of my head are:
- insurance information
- identification

We are taking dd's bff with us in June.

I plan to ask her mom for a notarized paper saying that we can get medical care for her if needed.

We have let each of our children bring their BF for their 13th Birthday.
We always made sure to have:

1. insurance card
2. Permission paper signed by parents and notarized stating that we had permission to take them for medical treatment if needed.
3. Their spending money.
4. How old are they? If older make sure you and the child's parents agree on freedoms that will be allowed on the trip. Will they be allowed to go on their own for a time in the same park, etc.

I always make sure to have a full itinerary printed with our flight info, hotel, phone numbers, etc. to give their parents.

Have fun, it is something all three of ours still talk about years later.

1. Allergies
2. Food dislikes
3. How does she do without sleep (when I was a kid, if I went a couple of days without normal sleep, I would get physically ill).
4. Emergency Contact and Work Numbers for the Parents
5. E-Mail address in case you want to send them pics during the trip!

Do you have an example of what your notarized paper said? Or where you looked to find something that fit those needs?

And great points about the freedoms allowed. I was thinking that myself since I first posted.
