Can you bring your own coffee maker to the values,or is this something Disney frowns upon? Thanks.

I have a basic mr coffee 4 cupper. I use the carafe and water tank area to store my coffee, filters, sugar and a spoon. I never had a problem with glass carafe in a checked bag over a dozen trips. So, good luck.

Oh Wow! I have never thought of doing this until this year, and was afraid to ask. We always get the DP so we usually just get coffee in our mugs and then go back to the room a few minutes before we catch the bus. But this year we are staying at POP and not so sure we want to get coffee and then have to trot all the way back to the room to put away our mugs before catching the bus for the parks. I do have a 4 cup maker so maybe that will be my best bet :thumbsup2

I'll be bringing my 4 cup coffee maker with me this year. In previous years we have stayed at mods or deluxes and I've just brought my own coffee, filters and sugar. But now they've switched to the one cup coffee makers (and are still supplying the gawd-awful Nescafe). So until they've made the switch to Joffreys at the resorts, I'll have to supply my own equipment. No way I'm hiking all the way to the food court first thing in the morning- I need that jolt of caffeine to get me going when I first wake up.

We bring our own pot, filters, coffee and a supply of those little creamer things..hubby likes the French Vanilla and I like half and half. Oh, and our own mugs!!

We even brought our small fridge to Pop before they put them in the rooms. It is nice to get ready with my coffee and cinnamon creamer before we hit RD!!

If it would have fit in my suitcase I would have too! I often rented one for my son's milk. Then I found just easier to go to a mod for coffee and frig!

I always travel with a hotpot to make my morning (or evening) tea. I've also brought a toaster to Pop in the past. Just so I don't have to make that trek to the foodcourt, but still have my toasted bagel while I'm getting ready.

We have a little single-cup Kuerig that we take everywhere. Fits nicely in a helmet bag.

Been doing this for years. I have to have my coffee while I'm getting ready--don't like waiting until after I'm dressed. Besides, my coffee is better than theirs.

This makes me very happy to hear! I'm planning to bring my little toaster too. My roommate is going to think I've completely lost my mind when I start packing up our appliances to take on vacation haha

We'll be taking one this trip - it takes DH at least 3 cups to prepare for the day. I hope no one shoots me, but we also take a HotShot (quick water boiler) so the kids can have hot chocolate and instant grits/oatmeal. I figure coffee and boiled water aren't hurting Disney since we still buy/use mugs.

Last time we went to the Pop, we made a side trip to WM and got a full size coffee maker for $8. We also saved lots money by getting our snacks & booze there too!! Used it for the trip and left it for the housekeepers with all the booze & food we didn't eat/drink that we didn't want to pack back home!! :cool1:
