Has anyone ever brought their own booster seat to WDW? Our DD will be 8mo when we travel and don't think she will do well in the tradtional high chairs.

I brought a portable infant seat that folded up and stored in the basket of my stroller. I never used it. The baby stayed in his fully-reclining stroller for each meal. The restaurants all welcomed him in the stroller.

My two little ones wouldn't have done well in a booster seat at 8-months-old. Plus who needs something ELSE to lug around. Last summer I bought a tray to strap onto my double stroller because it didn't have a tray, and the tray worked really well on those wooden restaurant high chairs. It also folds up really small and could even fit in a diaper bag.

You can get the tray at www.twingles.net.

We took our DS when he was 7 months.
He was new to the standard booster but with an extra blanket folded up behind him (or coat in a pinch) he did fine.
I also found the multi-color links (ring like toys that link together) were great for hooking on the booster so he could play without Mom and Dad having to pick up toys every two seconds.

There is enough stuff to carry around with a little one I can't imagine adding more.

We were allowed to bring our stoller into any resturaunt we asked to and Baby Care Center all seemed to have regular high chairs, with high backs and tray tables.
