Bring your own beach shelter?

Hi Everyone,
Wondered if it's worth packing one of those little pop-up shelters for the beaches. We are planning on beach days in every port, and may not be doing the formal excursions that provide all the equipment. What do you think?

I saw a few doing this, and also with their own floats at Castaway Cay...the net kind that folds flat in a circle, and then pops open and you blow up the pillow...I guess I'd say if you can fit it, why not?

Thanks 4OFUs!
I am planning on packing really light with the clothes, so I don't mind packing a couple extra things that I think we may need. My DH is not a beach person generally because he's very fair skinned. But on this trip we are planning on relaxing on the beaches, and I don't want to get stuck unprepared or he'll high-tail it back to the ship! (I suppose that would be OK too, as it is his vacation also.)

Thanks so much-glad to hear you had such a great time on the cruise. I hope we meet some nice folks too.
Kathy
