Break out your long johns and other thermal undergarments, baby. the weather for Sunday night is calling for 33 degrees. Anybody care to join us for a late night swim at the luna park pool? Invigorating.

THERE! You see? Now I feel completely validated for bringing our long johns last week! We didn't wear them, but that's beside the point. What would have been more useful to us was some sort of monsoon gear... :umbrella:

Wow, that will seem warm to me after the current cold front of -2° we've had here the last few days.

We'll be swimming! I've packed stuff (although not long johns....) for anything. Actually, after Sunday, the temp. is supposed to go up, according to accuweather.com. See you all in the pools!

33 degrees is toasty compared to what we've had the last few weeks. I may wear shorts!

i sure will i check in at the bw sunday,33 would be nicer than the single digits at home !!!

That must be nice, we'll be having a blizzard here in NJ Saturday into SUnday. Possible 2 feet of snow! So the 33 degrees sounds good to me!

I have had ours in the suticase since i started packing last month! Everyone was laughiing but Muhahahah!! Oops, gotta go! Check out the countdown!!

The difference between cold temperatures at home and in Orlando is that most of us don't spend hours outside at home. Well, my son does, but I sure don't. I go from my house to the car, the car to stores or schools, etc. At WDW we'll be outside a lot.

Of course Monday morning we'll be at Epcot--I always seem to end up at Epcot for cold days and it seems so much colder to me thatn other parks. I don't have my long johns packed, but I may just try and find them afterall.

T&B

Get the SILK long underwear!!
I am telling you, they take up no room in the suitcase, are lightweight, not hot and just do the trick especially against any dampness or wind.
The coolest it got while we were there last week was 50, and walking around in 30 mph gusts it was COLD! It is better to have them than to not!
We rented a locker at MK stuffed all of our fleece, gloves and hats, and only went back when we needed to add to our layer.

I saw so many people actually shivering, and looking just miserable.
If there is no sun, it gets really chilly especially at Epcot

We're from Green Bay, too!!! Maybe we'll join you on for your Sunday swim. 33 degrees is nothing compared to what we had earlier this week!!!

We just got back on Tuesday. Most of our visit was clear, cold and windy. I strongly suggest you plan accordingly. We also had a couple of torrential downpours so don't forget your rain poncho.

I should mention we had a great time and the weather didn't seem to stop us from doing what we wanted to do.

Susan, if you're from Portland you're used to not letting rain stop you! :) I might miss the ocean and the mountains in Oregon, but I don't miss the rain!

Trust the DISers headed to the world to make the best of some rather chilly temps...
:smooth:

It's -23 today with a high of -16. Anything will feel warm compared to this. Skin can freeze if exposed for 15 min. No thanks.

I will take whatever Disney has to offer - It can't be this cold.

Oh my goodness I feel your pain...today it was a record -10 in Syracuse :earseek: wind chilll was -25 this morning....that is just insane!

The other day we hit 20 degrees finally and it felt like Spring was here :flower1:

I've been to WDW when nights were in the 20s! And I've been there on monsoon rainy day. I'll take the cold over the rain - no question!

Yup, right now it's -2, and with the windchill it's -25. It's going to be the middle of next week before we get into POSITIVE double digit weather! Give me 33 any day! And yes I'm wearing my silk long undies RIGHT NOW!!!

It is -21 C here, which is about -6 F so I would love to go for a dip in the pool at 33F. Make sure that is a heated pool though!
As far as I am concerned anything in the 40s (F) would be warm about now!
I swam every day last year, even on the colder ones. Can't wait!
