If you are coming to WDW this week, bring some warm clothes. A cold front moved through last night. The highs for this week will be in the low to mid 60s with fairly strong winds. The overnight temps will be in the 30s and 40s.

I am in the middle of packing right now! Long sleeves, fleece jacket, windbreaker, jeans.

Although, to us in Ohio right now, low-to-mid 60s sounds balmy! ;)

I'm packing too. We leave tomorrow. I just "spreadsheeted" (in true DISBoarder fashion) three versions of the forecast (accuweather, Nat'l Weather Service, & weatherunderground). Looks like the warmest it will get in the next 8 days is mid-70s on Christmas Eve but a 40-50% chance of rain. Oh well. Rain at Disney is better than snow in Illinois anyday!!

I'm even bringing gloves! Hoping the forecast is wrong and it heats up a bit more, but I'm not counting on it. I'm REALLY hoping that I can fly out on time Monday morning...we have a blizzard watch on for today and tomorrow in Southern New England. *crosses fingers*

We are heading out Monday morning and we live in Miami. It is really nice out today, cooler than ever this year. I was hoping for cool weather this week but not 40's! Oh well, as long as no rain.

I have to start packing.

YAY!!!!!

Thanks for the heads up. We were supposed to be leaving this morning but due to 2 feet od snow coming down the 95 corridor we aren't leaving til hopefully tomorrow.

Christmas Eve has a chance of rain? I missed that little tidbit, is it really supposed to rain that night?

agnes!

I was just gonna say that's shorts and sandals weather in northeast Ohio!:rotfl2:

Its only about 59 here in Miami...wish I was at Disney....:guilty: Its ALWAYS colder there than HERE!

I'm at Disney now, using the pricey internet.

It is very cold in the mornings, quite chilly throughout the day today. Windbreakers are suggested. My toes were turning purple last night, so dont wear flip flops!!!

The thing is low to mid-60s is okay but that's the high. Most of the day is spent in the 40s and 50s and it makes it to 60 for about an hour in the afternoon. Still, not bad if you're not going out at night.

:)

Local news just reiterate the chance for a wet Christmas but it's several days away. I never trust forecasts more than 72hrs out.

The forecast reminds me of my first WDW trip - decades ago, when I was a senior in high school. Same time of year, and it got cold - and all I had packed for warm clothes were a pair of bright green pants and bright red overalls. (Yes, ew, I had awful fashion sense, probably still do now) I cringe when I see the pictures!

Of course, the cold weather is always a great excuse to buy some sweatshirts at WDW!

I leave tomorrow morning. Me, my grandmom, mom and 4 year old daughter. Being from Miami, we rarely see the temperature under 60. I'm starting to worry I may not have packed enough warm clothes!

Its going to be colder than the forecast had predicted last week.

The wind has been strong the past couple of days. It looks like it has finally died down which should make it feel a little warmer. It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas in Orlando!

holy moly is it cold out ..... we went to the Prime Outlets Sunday morning and the wind is cold...for us :goodvibes
saw a lot of tourists in the Columbia outlet buying fleece jackets and sweaters.....

It was cold standing in line for spaceship earth wearing jeans and a semi-winter coat, yet saw people in line in shorts, short sleeve shirts, and sandals.

We just braved a blizzard with 12-16 inches and 15 degrees with wind chill in NY so even 50 sounds good right now:lmao:

No but really thanks for the heads up. This time of year is so tricky. I have been there when it is in the 80's and then last Jan it was like 30 at night! I just pack with layers lol!
