Bring scooter to the MK...how does it work w/ no "handicap" tag?

You mentioned putting the ecv on trams....which trams are those? I thought they didn't allow them on the parkinglot trams?
I think mullertwin is confusing the monorail with the parking lot trams.

There are ramps for monorail access for wheelchairs and ECVs, and special cars with wider 'standing' space, so the Guest doesn't have to transfer to a seat, or stand. The trams discussed in this thread are parking lot trams - open-sided vehicles with steps up to the seating area, used to transport Guests from where their own/rented cars are parked to the theme park entrances or the TTC. These are NOT wheelchair/ECV accessible. There are no ramps in the parking lot or on the tram; there is no open area for the wheelchair or ECV to ride the tram. If a wheelchair can be folded and its user can get up and down the steps of the tram, fine - but an ECV simply can't be accommodated.

If I am not mistaken, aren't all of the monorails (trams) accessable? I believe we went on every single one whil we visited.

Okay....my world is back on it's axis :) I'd just never heard anyone call the monorail a tram before. I was trying to figure out when they'd changed the parking lot trams and how I'd missed that bit of info?!

Talk about being confused!:confused3 I just re-read my posts and don't see anywhere that I mention the tram itself. I mention NOT to park in the tram parking lot as then you'd have to walk/wheel to the entrance and that could be quite far.

And, yes, the monorails are accessible and fantastic to load on and off.:)

We can all sing the confused song together.....except I can't remember the words :rotfl2:

Good news though....my mom agreed today to look into the tag :)

To clear the confusion :lmao:

Monorail = big train in the sky = accessible

parking lot tram = motorized vehicle transporting guests between parking lots (except not handicapped lots) and park entrance = not ECV accessible
