On our countdown calendar we have 41 days left til the big trip!! Woohoo! We made our calendar two days ago and it isn't staying as well as planned. It worked last year but I think I made it 30 days out. You see, I have construction paper I decorated with all different Disney stickers and then wrote a 0 in the middle and then days til our disney vacation! Over that 0 I put 43 post its and labeled them 43-1....well I think it's a little too heavy!! haha! But it's ok...I'll figure something out!
Anyways, my name is Jaclyn and I am engaged to my wonderful fiance Scott. We have a beautiful daughter together named Alanna who is a little over 4. We live in Jersey. So I will give you a little info about us. I have gone to Disney about 4 times as a child (love all things Disney and proud!). Fiance...not so much. He went one day to MK as a child and didn't experience much, as he was the only kid and no one wanted to go on rides with him....he then went again in college but only did MK and Epcot. We all went last year as a family. He wasn't too excited, he couldn't figure out what the hype was about. Now he totally gets it. Granted, he's not making spread sheets with me....
but he wants to try to make it a yearly thing if possible. He was so happy with Disney, with ME, DDP, the transportation to the parks. He just couldn't believe that Disney World really was a little world of its own. He also didn't know Walt Disney actually came up with the idea of the audio animatronics...he was amazed.
Now onto my little one. She loves the fab 5 + Daisy....she watches those older Disney Classic Cartoons, and she loves Lilo and Stitch and Pixar movies. She is starting to get into princesses. We have been trying to get our Disney fix outside the world over the past year ::sigh:: it has been tough. Thankfully we live an hour away from the City and have gone to the World of Disney Store about 3xs since then. We met some princesses, chip, dale, and minnie and donald. And of course we hyped ourselves up for WALL-E and Bolt

What are we celebrating?
We are celebrating family...and I am finally done with school! Well...not 100%, but I am done with all my classes come May and will just be student teaching in September through December.
So anyways, back to the Disney stuff. We will be flying out of Newark on 5-14, we should be landing in Orlando around 1:30ish. We will be in Disney til the 21st. We are staying at All Star Movies, I don't know, we did it last year and we enjoyed it, DD loved it so we decided to go for it again. I would have tried Pop, just to see another resort but I figured I'd go with what DD wanted. We have ADRs for Chef Mickey Breakfast, Crystal Palace Breakfast, Ohana Breakfast, 1900Park Fare dinner, Whispering Canyon Cafe Dinner, Tusker House Breakfast, and drum roll please.....Le Cellier Dinner. We will be doing all the parks...not sure about the water parks though. I also don't plan on doing downtown disney either. However....I don't know what to do on our first day! (Any suggestions?!?!) Last yr we went to DHS and it was EMPTY!!! We got a lot done in the short time we had! Was planning on doing that this year, but then I thought to myself...I could to DHS in ONE day so maybe I will just take one full day to do that.
Currently, I am just trying to finish up the semester...it's hard to concentrate on work when you have Disney on the brain. I am also trying to get things together little by little. Today I grabbed a few travel sized items at Wal Mart (soap, toothpaste, sunblock, regular sized sunblock, etc). DD has all her clothes for the trip. Including bathing suits that I purchased at the Disney store last year on clearance...gotta love those sales! I also got her a few outfits and PJs too. I also ordered her a few custom dresses from ebay/etsy to wear while on vacation. I need clothes and a bathing suit though, Fiance will tell me the day before he has nothing to wear and will probably go shopping because...he's a guy.
Overall, this year I hope to spend more time at WS because we didn't get to really do it last year with Alanna getting sick. We went on Nemo 10xs because she loved it haha. I also want to eat more....yup! I felt like I didn't eat that much last year while on our trip because I ran around so much. I want my Dole Whip darnit!!! Oh and any good foods/alcoholic beverages that you would like to recommend.....just post lt
THANKS! My MUST rides are Splash Mt, Soarin, Peter Pan's Flight, TSM, and...well there's a lot haha!

it was a nasty cold, not enough to keep us in our room, but enough to put a damper on our vacation. She wasn't very happy, she missed out on swimming...it was just not good. And did I mention I really DON'T like flying?!?!
