Bring lunch into Parks

When we went three years ago my family packed sandwhiches, snacks and water in a backpack and carried these throughout the park. I just read this on the DL website:

"Can I bring food into Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park?

If you wish to bring your own food and enjoy an outdoor meal in an ideal setting, there is a complimentary Picnic Area conveniently located outside the Main Entrance to Disneyland Park.
With the exception of food items for Guests with specific dietary restrictions, food or beverage items are not permitted into either of the Disneyland Resort theme parks."

Does anyone know if I will be able to carry the above food and drinks with me again? What do they let you carry with you food/drink wise?

they never stop you as long as it isn't glass, and it is pre made. they don't want you to bring stuff to make a sandwich and what not.
also with water, remember all cups of ice and ice water are free at cs places

yw it worked in may we got three med glasses of ice and had one pepsi 16oz and it filled all three glasses up we did it twice once waiting for F for two hours and once for lunch in fantasy land village hus.

It also saves room in bags and you dont have to carry 4 bottles of water each time.

also i must show you the backpack im gona get for oct trip its a cooler backpack combo we look forward to useing it
