Recently back from DLR. We LOVED Mr. Toad, and wish
they would return it to WDW.

Also....The DLR version of Space Mountain is GREAT. Hope they rehab WDW
version soon and make the changes to the vehicle, soundtrack and track. Lots of fun !!

The last time I rode Mr. Toad before they took it away, I got stuck in hell!:scared1: Seriously, I don't remember the ride that well, but I remember the cars getting stuck and I was in a room with a bunch of devils! It could be worse...mom and grandmother in the car behind us got hit by a train about 40 times!:goodvibes

What finally happened?

Were you TOADally stuck, or was your TOAD car TOWED away?

;)

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was one of my favorites growing up! I was so excited when my now husband and I agreed to make Disneyland our honeymoon destination (he will finally get to experience this ride I love). We rode it so many times on our honeymoon, bringing back Mr. Toad would be wonderful!!

I do have to agree with the OP comment about Space Mountain. We were blown away after we rode it the first time, WOW!!!

I totally forgot what it was like inside - just that it always had a long line. Didn't know they got rid of it. What did they put there instead? Did they get ride of snow white's ride - that was horrible. I got a headache. lol

They built Winnie the Pooh is that ride space.
The Pooh ride is actually very nicely done.

Snow White's attraction is still where it always was.

lmao at the hidden minnie pic!!! :lmao:

Thank you. Now I'm confused (easily done Im afraid!) I remember back in 2005 they had both the toad and the winnie the pooh ride......did they move it or build another one?

Pooh replaced Toady at MK in 1999.

I think Mr. Toad's Wild Ride would be an excellent addition to Epcot's UK Pavilion.

Epcot WS needs some more rides, anyway.

Especially ones that appeal to both kids and adults.

I heard rumors that DLR was going to remove Mr. Toad but there was a pretty loud public outcry against it.

At WDW they can't put it back at MK per Disney's own rule that forbids the return of the same ride once its removed. When Electric Light Parade was removed from DL the public cried foul. After it's brief trip to WDW it returned to DLR at California Adventure where its once again a hit.

I find many rides better at DL over MK. Pirates the most notable as well as Space Mountain. I also prefer DL's Haunted Mansion because of a real elevator and a walk through hallway that you can take your time in. MK's Splash and Jungle are slightly better than DL's version to me.

that reminds me we totally loved the indiana jones RIDE at DL - so wish they had it at WDW

Mr. Toad was my favorite ride. DW and I were actually in Disney the day they dedicated the Winnie the Pooh ride. A very sad day indeed. Speaking of deeds everyonee has seen the picture of Mr. Toad handing over the deed to Owl, right?

OH i LOVED Mr. Toads wild ride...i can remember dragging my grandparents on the over, and over..lol..not that they minded much though ;P
We were in WDW last week and on one of buses they were playing old Disney songs and Mr. Toads song from the ride started and i got so excited..as did a few of the guests on the bus..lol Sad though that most of the people on there had no idea what it was :(

Sorry, don't believe there is a rule like that.

I loved Mr. Toads wild ride. now dont get me wrong I love good ol' Pooh Bear but I miss that ride when we go to WDW. does anyone know if the Alice in Wonderland ride is still at DL?:confused3
